Our story began in 1947, when Ray Watt founded Day & Night Construction to help meet the surging housing demand in post–World War II America. In 1969, his son, Scott Watt, launched Scottfield Building Corporation, building over 1,000 homes and a major shopping center.

By 1976, father and son merged their entities to establish Watt Industries, which eventually evolved into Watt Companies, a name synonymous with innovation and quality in real estate development.

After leading Watt Companies for more than two decades, Scott Watt founded Watt Capital Developers, continuing the family legacy of delivering high-quality, enduring real estate projects that shape communities and stand the test of time.
